RECIPE #3

CHEESE BREAD

INGREDIENTS:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup white sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil

METHOD:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. In another large bowl, beat together egg, milk and oil. Stir the flour/ cheese mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until just moistended. Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle cheese on top of batter.
3. Bake in preheatd oven for 35minutes, until a tookpick inserted into center of the bread comes out clean.

BEST WAFFLE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/3 cups flour
4 teaspoons bakin powder
1/2 teasponns salt
2 teaspoons sagar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cups milk

Method:

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
2. Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the dry ingredients mixture, and placing the whites in a small mixing bowl.
3. Beat whites until moderately stiff; set aside.
4. Add milk and melted butter to dry ingredient mixture and blend.
5. Fold stiff egg white into mixture.
6. Ladle mixture into hot waffle iron and bake.
